Great place. Lots of room to run! My Tigger loved it. It wasn't buggy at all. I brought my rainboots because the reviews said it was muddy. Only place it's muddy is on the river bank. If you want to go down there with your dog while they swim rainboots are a good idea. Otherwise it's grass everywhere. |

We live in Asheville and needed a peaceful retreat. Thats exactly what we got at David's place. The creek the hot tub, surrounded by trees and nature. Just what we needed. Look forward to staying again in the future. |

The house was located on a quiet street within walking distance of my daughter’s house. The house only had one step to get inside. This was a necessity since my husband has limited mobility and uses a walker. We were able to put his electric scooter on the carport so it was out of the way and out of the weather. We enjoyed having room to have meals with my daughter and son-in-law. The decorations were more for gamers but that was not a problem for us. Only two suggestions, have a box of tissues in the bathroom or kitchen and put some light fixture over the kitchen table. This was our first experience staying in an Airbnb so I really have nothing to compare this home to another. For a first time experience, it met our needs and we enjoyed our stay. |

Great little spot for your pup to swim. Just be prepared for mud near the water and take some bug spray, but a seriously shady and peaceful spot! |

The house was well supplied with the basics. I was not expecting to have to change the linens out before leaving. I think using COVID19 as an excuse to have your guests do normal work expected from your cleaning crew is ridiculous! You should be up front with that information prior to booking. We will most likely stay somewhere else next time. |

loved the cabin , about 10 minutes from the Davidson River. very peaceful and relaxing stay. David even had some local restaurant menus and helpful brochures. the downstairs had a noticeable smell, most likely from a wet carpet near the hot tub. since we stayed upstairs, it didn't bother us. other than that, everything was great. |

David was excellent.. his property is a gem for sure, the porch is extremely cool, the surrounding trees and being so high up you can’t beat some of the views you’ll get to see.. when it rains it’s extremely peaceful up there. This cabin is more like a condo cabin to me, it’s elegantly styled with a mild modern feel (so it feels “new”) with all of the cabin features it give great vibes.. loved it for sure ???? would I come back you ask? Well absolutely if I didn’t try another one of David’s properties! This particular cabin/condo was very easy to get to and not very far from much which is a triple plus! |

Perfect location. The only issue I had during my visit was a repair person showing up unexpectedly on the one day I had dedicated wholly to introversion and reading. |

The pictures do not do this cabin justice! The house is super cute with so many nice touches. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after afternoon hiking as well as falling asleep to the tranquility of the waterfall sounds. |

Great location to Dupont and Pisgah for hiking and biking.Rental was clean, spacious and great fenced in area for the dog.Loved the fact that we could use the garage for our bikes.The sunroom was convenient for additional storage and a good place to remove muddy hiking shoes and wet clothing after the afternoon rains. We already plan on renting again. |

David’s place was close to downtown Brevard. It was the perfect place for watching the 4th of July fireworks from the back deck. The house was clean and the back deck with fenced back yard was a great place to hangout. |

Nice spot with river access and wooded areas for pups to romp. There’s a table and little grill, but no chair. The river side is super muddy, obviously- I wish I had brought an extra towel for the dogs! It was a wide, slow-moving spot, safe and shady for dogs and humans to enjoy the water. Google Maps told me it was on the other side of the street, so I drove around a little, but the host’s directions are right on. |

We came to stay close to Sliding Rock. It was perfect! Great location and it was nice coming back to the hot tub after spending all day in the cold water. Clean, cute, and comfortable beds! We loved it! |

The aptly named cottage was a real pleasure. We sat on the back porch, gazing up at the hillside of rhododendron in bloom and listening to the music of the brook. It is a homey, comfortable place. The bear theme was carried out throughout the house with wood carvings and furniture. It was very clean and efficient. |

We had a lovely time! Incredibly beautiful and peaceful. My girlfriend, service pup, and I were very comfortable and found it super convenient for our adventuring!We had 2 surprises. One was that the stove leaks gas. It’s a gas stove, which is awesome, but something wonky is going on with it. We had to air out the house twice- once for using burners that weren’t working properly and we got woozy, and another time for the oven also leaking gas. I brought this up with the owners and believe they are addressing the issue. We also didn’t realize that hot tub maintenance people come by every 2 to 3 days- didn’t see this in the Airbnb listing, but it is in the website sent after booking. I had to hunt for it to find it, but it’s there. Scared the crap out of us, as 2 girls w/a random man showing up seemingly unannounced. Just wish this was listed a little more obviously as a heads up bc it really freaked us out. Overall, wonderful stay and would definitely stay again. Thanks so much!!! |

We loved the fact that our fur babies could come.The fenced in back yard made it extremely convenient to go out without having to take them on a leash. The home was clean, plenty of towels, firm bed and the PILLOWS! I slept so well I had to order some of the same pillows. We grilled on the charcoal grill and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Sitting on the back porch you hear the babbling brook while you relax and enjoy your food on the back deck table. While we enjoyed a cool breeze we were surrounded by a cacophany of wood thrushes. At night we enjoyed the fireflies(we went in June). There is a screen door that leads from the back porch to the master bedroom. Even in June the night temp was low 60's and we were able to sleep with the door open and the screen pulled. It was like camping only in a bed. We will be back |

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage. It's very close to some awesome mountain biking trails and hikes to waterfalls. David was very responsive to any messages and the Cottage was exactly as described. Very peaceful! The neighbors were all very kind and we loved our visits from their cats and dogs. We will definitely stay here again when we return. |

The Falling Water Cabin is in an ideal spot to get to Pisgah and to various other amenities for anything you may have forgotten at home. It was great for us two, our 10-year-old and our big fur baby. We loved being able to open up the doors and let that wonderful mountain air flow through the living space. Nestled in the trees and by the stream, the temperature stayed a wonderful mountain cool that you can't find anywhere else. I must say that sitting on the porch, overlooking the stream was my favorite part; so relaxing. While the porch was my favorite, the hot tub was our 10-year-olds favorite! I think she would've turned into a fish if we didn't set a timer. We enjoyed our stay! |

We loved staying in this cottage. We had everything we needed, period. Besides food of course. Wi Fi worked, tv worked, dvd worked and easy enough to figure out. The washer/dryer are set back in a corner so don't take up space, are quiet, and were so nice to have since it was raining when we were there. Lots of storage space so you can actually unpack. Very clean. New construction. LOVED IT! |

We chose this property for a kid-free week while the children were at a nearby summer camp. The property itself is wonderful and features many updates, super comfortable beds, abundant towels and some nice touches that we happen to appreciate such as quiet-close toilets and an ice maker. And the hot tub is great for helping with the aches if you've overdone the hiking. The location is ideal for accessing all the waterfall hikes the region is known for, and there are ample choices for dining and entertainment within a 15-20 minute drive. We loved it and hope to be back! |

This was such a relaxing place w/ cute bear theme throughout. Very clean & well stocked:toilet paper, paper towels even spices! It rained for 4 days we were there & still had strong internet & cable. Hot tub was also enjoyable. Would recommend highly, even our dogs liked the fenced in yard. |

Great location! We stayed here a week while our kids were in a nearby summer camp. It was ideal for remote work (no problems with wifi). Then we'd hit the trails around 4-5pm. Dupont State Forest and Pisgah National Forest are so close. We did every waterfall hike. The fenced backyard was so convenient for our dog. Easy to let her straight out from the house from 2 different doors. The three porches were great extension of the living space. The hot tub was well-maintained and enjoyable to relax in and watch the sunset. We'd definitely stay here again. |
